This page includes links to virtual library sites that provide general library tools, such as dictionaries, thesauri, and templates for papers, complete books on line and many other services for general library use. Some services are free of charge, while other services require subscription or fee.

 

ERIC  is a national information system funded by the U.S. Department of Education's Institute of Education Sciences to provide access to education literature and resources. You may search the ERIC database for articles pertaining to art therapy (or any other subject) by scrolling down to the bottom of the ERIC home page. Then find "Search Eric database" and click on the link. ERIC will provide a bibliography and abstract if the requested subject is available within the database. If you find an article you would like to purchase, ERIC provides the links to retrieve the articles.  To conduct a search, you can use the following links or contacts.

PsycINFO  - provides access to abstracts and journals for a fee. Please consult the site under Individual Subscriptions for prices, services and limitations. PsycINFO Journal Coverage List - There is no fee to access the PsycINFO journal coverage list.  

 

RLG Library Resources  - Variety of information resources useful to institutions and individuals.

Questia - Library services for students. Includes general aids such as online dictionaries/thesauri, research aids, workstations, and some journal searches. There is no fee to preview articles. Many books and articles contain full text of journal articles.

The WWW Virtual Library -
The Virtual Library offers links to the Virtual Psychology Library with access to journals and other library resources.
