Admission to the Art Therapy Institute
Eligibility Requirements to enroll in courses at the Art Therapy Institute
The Art Therapy Institute is a continuing education program designed for mental health professionals or graduate students who are enrolled in a Master's degree program for one of the mental health professions. An art background is recommended but not required.
The Certificate program, which was designed for mental health professionals seeking the credential of Registered Art Therapist (ATR) is no longer accepting new students. If you are interested in obtaining education for the purpose of becoming credentialed as a Registered Art Therapist (ATR) you will need to attend a university program.
